RMC is a Northwest based coding and compliance review services company offering exceptional services nationwide. RMC Services are quality focused, cost effective, and custom tailored to the specific needs of our clients. RMC was founded by Dana Brown, RHIA, CHC, in 1994, to help healthcare facilities improve their coding integrity through quality coding, improved documentation and education.
RMC Staff
RMC Staff are highly qualified individuals with experience providing reviews and consulting services for healthcare institutions, governmental agencies, and law firms. Our average consultant has over 10 years experience and holds 2 credentials from coding and compliance accrediting associations, to include the American Health Information Management Association, the American Academy of Professional Coders, and the Health Care Compliance Association.
RMC Staff are committed to ethical and legal business practices, making every effort to comply with federal and state statutes and regulations, all payer policies, official coding rules and guidelines, and accepted standards for appropriate clinical documentation practices.
RMC’s Commitment to Compliance
At RMC, we thoroughly screen all RMC Consultants, reviewing and verifying their experience, skills, and performing background checks (OIG exclusions list) as needed.
We conduct regular internal quality review of our staff, and require 95% accuracy in services performed. Compliance training is done with all RMC staff at the initiation of employment, periodically throughout the year, and at the annual staff meeting.
RMC Clients
RMC was originally formed to assist hospitals in their coding compliance initiatives. But since the inception in 1994, RMC has branched out to assist physician groups, health plans, law firms, and governmental agencies with coding integrity support, audits, and general consulting, to include compliance program implementation and development.
