Dana Brown, RHIA, CHC | President
Ms. Brown founded RMC in 1994, with the desire to assist healthcare facilities in obtaining correct reimbursement and minimizing lost revenue through complete and accurate coding, documentation improvement, and education. Prior to founding RMC, Ms. Brown performed DRG Validation, Admission, and Utilization Reviews for the Oregon PRO/QIO.
She has extensive management, education and coding experience spanning her 25+ year career in HIM. Ms. Brown’s expertise in Compliance, Inpatient Coding, DRG’s/MSDRG’s, OIG & RAC Targets, Clinical Documentation Improvement, as well as an interest in HCC and Critical Access Hospitals round out her areas of focus at RMC.

Chris Breithoff, CPC, CPCO, CRC | Manager of Physician Services
Chris has worked in the medical arena since 1985 with an emphasis on coding & compliance for 18 years. Her background includes managing large private practices, as well as managing a physician coding department for a large teaching hospital.
Chris’ areas of expertise are E/M, Critical Care, ER, GI, Pulmonary, Cardiology and Sleep Medicine.
Monique Vanderhoof, RHIT, CPC, CCA, CRC | Director of Coding Services
Monique has over 15 years of experience in health care as a Coding Manager and a Clinic Manager with extensive experience working in outpatient physician settings with an expertise in cardiology. Her skills also include EHR implementation, HIPAA, eRx and Meaningful Use readiness and attestation.
Monique is an AHIMA approved ICD-10 trainer and is dedicated to preserving coding quality by leading coding education presentations.
Stacy Hardin, RHIT, CCS | Director of Hospital Coding Services
Stacy has 15 years’ experience in the Health Information Management field. She started her career working for a small rural Family Practice Clinic where her duties included coding, transcription and nursing assistant. Stacy moved into the hospital sector over 10 years ago at a small rural hospital performing transcription and coding.
With progressive experience, Stacy has held various positions of Coder, Coding Compliance Coordinator and HIM Director.
